I ‘nuovi parlanti’ nella trasmissione della lingua di minoranza alle nuove generazioni. Un confronto tra esperienze
Abstract
The Corsican language faces challenges in its intergenerational transmission, and recent studies show positive trends toward linguistic normalization and standardization. The decline in the use of dialects could bring with it the loss of several linguistic features, which linguistic descriptions aim to address. The concept of ‘polynomic language’, integrating a plural norm, is promoted in teaching. Therefore, linguistic documentation can play an important role in supporting the dissemination of the Corsican language. Standardization efforts, including orthographic codification, aim to provide a unified but diverse approach to the language, balancing the richness of dialectal variation with a common framework for speakers and learners.
