Parlare più lingue. Una ricerca sulle “seconde generazioni” nelle scuole di Udine
Abstract
The linguistic inclusion processes of second-generation immigrants are an interesting field of study in sociolinguistics, which focuses on plurilingual repertories so as to suggest methods capable of valorising the social and linguistic changes experienced by children and adolescents with a migrant background. With this premise in mind, this article analyses the data collected during a survey on second-generation schoolchildren in the city of Udine. The aim is to point out the richness of these linguistic repertories, in a context which is still rather unwilling to appreciate and share diversity.
